Pick up the 2017 Brockville & 1000 Islands Official Visitor Guide

The staff of Brockville & 1000 Islands Tourism are proud to announce that the 2017 Official Visitor Guide and Road Map are now available in print.
The cover of this year’s guide features the soon-to-reopen Brockville Railway Tunnel, Canada’s First, featuring the state of the art LED lighting display by Phillips Lighting. When construction is complete in August of this year, the Brockville Railway Tunnel will once again be open in its entirety from end to end and will be open to the public during the day for visitors to explore. A grand opening ceremony will be held on August 12th following a parade and will take place on the grounds of the Rails to Trails Festival at Brockville’s waterfront from August 10-14. More information on the tunnel and the Rails to Trails Festival can be found in the centre spread of the visitor guide.
In addition to the tunnel article, you will also find an updated Festival and Events Calendar, Accommodation Information, a Downtown Brockville Summer Bucket List of activities (and a fun photo contest!), ideas for Shopping and Dining, and articles on Family Fun, Cruises & Castles, Scuba Diving, Arts & Culture, History, and 1000 Islands Parkway.
We invite you to stop by to pick up a copy and make yourself familiar with what will be happening in and around Brockville this year. Live out of town? No problem. Request a copy of the visitor guide here or download a digital copy.
Until the long-weekend in May, the Visitor Centre at 10 Market Street West in Brockville is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm and after that we switch to 7 days/week.
