Blockhouse Sunset
Blockhouse Island
Wake up a little earlier than usual and head down to Blockhouse Island to view a jaw dropping winter sunrise. As the steam rises from the river, watch the vibrant yellows, oranges and pinks emerge from the south.

St. Lawrence Park
Gorgeous views of the Islands make this location a little piece of paradise! Step out onto the dock, or walk the along the top of the rocks for some lovely lookout views. Don’t forget to bring your pup along for a photoshoot!

The Brock Trail
This 7km trail runs from Brockville’s waterfront, all the way up to Mac Johnson Wildlife Area. Along the way you’ll follow Buell’s Creek, cross cute bridges, walk through a railway tunnel underpass, and much more! You really never know what you’ll come across, that will create the perfect winter scene… like the photo above!

King Street/Downtown Brockville
Downtown Brockville’s main street is lined with historical buildings and eye catching architecture. King Street East boasts large beautiful homes aka. “Millionaires Row”, and there are also hidden architectural gems along the side streets of downtown that you will not want to miss!

Mac Johnson Wildlife Area
The winter season at Mac Johnson Wildlife does not disappoint! Keep your eye out for birds and animals on your nature walk, snowshoe or cross country ski adventure. Capture an action shot on the skating rink, or a perfect couples shot on the dock.

Stop at one of the Parkway’s many pull offs for scenic views of the St. Lawrence River and 1000 Islands, or stop to stretch your legs. Take a walk at Browns Bay Park, or around the village of Rockport, or take a hike at Jones Creek. You and your camera will not be disappointed!
