If Help Is Needed
Gift Certificate Support Through AttractionsOntario
People are being actively encouraged to purchase gift certificates right now to help companies in the future. Buying a gift certificate brings in income right now, and also ensures people will come into your store again once the emergency measures are lifted.
If you are a tourism attraction or business and offering gift certificates, please contact AttractionsON to let them know about your online gift certificate sales. They have a page dedicated to these gift certificates, and they will be promoting these offers on social media as well.

RDA Funding
Your local RDA (Regional Development Agency) is here to help businesses as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
These RDAs are on the front line of economic development in Canada, and can help to address key challenges that businesses are facing economically. They are monitoring the current COVID-19 situation closely, and watching the impact it has on our local economies.
If you are a tourism operator or small- or medium- sized business or organization and have received RDA funding and COVID-19 is affecting your operations, you are encouraged to contact your local RDA office. Your local RDA office can review your situation and provide guidance.
- You may be eligible to receive additional funding and/or flexible arrangements.
- Further support will be determined on a case-by-case basis as the situation evolves.
If you are a tourism operator or small- or medium- sized business or organization impacted by the sudden shifts in the economy and need pressing assistance, the RDAs could assist you with:
- Access to federal funding to help you stay in business.
- Advice and pathfinding services to other federal programs and services available.
For further information, please contact FedDev Ontario.
These programs are being run through their individual organizations, so please be sure to reach out to the individual programs for further information.
