Brockville Tourism recently took a trip down the road to check it out, and found out more firsthand!
As you arrive at the front of the complex, you may feel like you are pulling up to a European castle or estate. Although you won’t see a horse drawn carriage or a princess making her way down the front steps, it still gives you that fairy tale-like feeling. (To enter into Café Selah, and River West Co. the entrance is to the left of the above photo).
The yummiest treats a wait at Café Saleh, along with hot drinks, soups and sandwiches. The perfect lunch getaway!
The café’s large and bright seating room offers a great spot to relax and catch up with family and friends. You also may be tempted to take a walk around and take in the beautiful art pieces that line the café’s walls.
Speaking of art, there is art everywhere. Jaw dropping, magnificent art in hallways, meeting rooms, the ballroom, and more. Many pieces showcase the region’s beauty whether it be nature scenes or wildlife.
Are you looking to for a venue to hold a family reunion, large get together, wedding, or another kind of celebration? The ballroom in 1000 Islands Village may be just the venue you are looking for, and there’s also the option for an outdoor wedding on the villages outdoor terrace.
Beautiful in the winter, but imagine it in the warmer season!?
During your visit don’t forget to stop in at River West Co. This unique store offers all your needs and wants for your home, closet and more! We bet you will have a hard time walking out empty handed 😉
