Celebrate Canada 150 with The Museum @ Night
Engage with the museum’s exhibits through a series of uniquely themed events after hours… the music will be playing, there will be special entertainment and hands-on activities, and food and drink will be available. Explore the museum like never before!
Friday, April 28th: History or Hearsay Cafe
An evening of deciphering what is fact and what is fiction. Engage in an adult scavenger hunt of our exhibits and participate in some Brockville trivia at your leisure. And of course, there will be prizes! This takes place in a cafe-style setting with live jazz-inspired music by local musician James Mackenzie.
Friday, May 26th: 60s Night
Go back 50 years to when Brockville was celebrating Canada’s centennial! Were you a mod or a rocker? A hippie or a square? Come out and show your true colours! Ottawa band “Werth It” will provide the music for an evening of dancing. There will be a costume contest as well as a dance contest, complete with prizes. Join us as we celebrate all things 60s!
Friday, June 23rd: Battle of the Brushes
A chance for you to get up-close and personal with local artists as they battle it out right before your eyes! Six artists will create masterpieces in minutes. You will determine which artists move forward to the next rounds. At the end of the night, we’ll crown a winner and all the artwork will be auctioned off.
