March Break 2017

Have you made March Break plans yet? Why not spend the week in Brockville? Whether you are from here, or need a new place to take the kids, there are plenty of activities your kids can take part in here in Brockville this year.

The Aquatarium

Your child’s day(s) will be filled with so many exciting age-appropriate activities – including outings (weather permitting), crafts, exploring engineering, science-based experiments, and the arts! All delivered through play-based activities – Fun while they Learn! There will also be ample time for them to explore the Aquatarium and all the great exhibits we have to offer.

All the Details:

  • Ages 6-12
  • March 13th to 17th
  • Single Day Camp available
  • Monday to Friday 9 am to 4 pm
  • Before Care (8am – 9am) and After Care (4 pm – 5 pm) available
  • Friends program members get a 10% discount

Cost: $200 for 5 days or $50 for 1 day

  • Before-hours care $5 per day
  • After-hours care $5 per day
  • All prices excluding HST

Registration:

To reserve a place at camp for your child please print and complete the registration form(s) found on our website (www.aquatarium.ca) and return with full payment to the Aquatarium either in person to our front desk or by mail (cheque payment only). Payment can be made by cheque (payable to “Aquatarium”), cash or credit card at the Aquatarium. If you have any questions, please contact Jessica at jwilliams@aquatarium.ca for all the details. Brockville Public Library

The Brockville Public Library has a full week of programming for all ages including their popular “Tinker Lab” programs, Game On!, family movies, Puppetpalooza, Unravelled and more. All programs are free and operate on a drop-in basis (no registration required). 1000 Islands Mall

Monday March 13th: Balloon Day 10am-4pm

Balloons By Eccentric Adam, a strolling show. Balloon Sculptures are always a draw and super exciting for all ages. The way in which Adam creates his balloon characters, hats, and take home art makes all the difference in the world. Comparable balloon artists have not the level of interaction and excitement of Eccentric Adam.

Tuesday March 14th: Dino Day 11:30am-12:00pm & 2:30pm – 3:00pm

A Dinosaur In Time – Dinosaur Strolling performance: If the movies cant’s create it, and the scientists don’t know how; what are Mike and Mike able to do with their skills in their at home laboratory? Dinosaurs! That is what Mike and Mike want to create. They wish to be with and take care of at least one living example of Jurassic History. Join them in their adventure. See the comedy, laugh along side, and marvel at what will be history in the making. Mike and Mike bring to life through TIME TRAVEL; an actual Tyrannosaurus Rex!

Wednesday March 15th: Eccentic Adam Children’s Entertainter 11:30am-12:00pm & 2:30pm – 3:00pm

The Eccentric Adam Show: Exciting family shows are forever on our minds when we think of family entertainment. Eccentric Adam is no different, but is actually completely different! Come down and see Adam perform his contemporary tomfoolery and celebrate with him; magic, music, comedy, juggling, and perhaps puppetry too!

Thursday March 16th: “Super” Day 10am-7pm

Come join Pop Culture Canada at the 1000 Islands Mall on March 16 where we celebrate Super Hero Day. Get pictures with your favourite Heroes ( and Villains), don’t forget to come dressed as your favourite Super Hero or Villain!

Friday March 17th: Meet Princess Beauty 12pm-4pm

Princess Beauty from Beauty and the Beast will be spending time at the 1000 Islands Mall singing songs, posing for pictures, Reading stories and greeting all the children! Parents don’t forget to bring your cameras! Kids, feel free to dress as your favourite princess.

Free for girls ages 6-13. Plan, create, build, collaborate, challenge.
