5 Things to do in Brockville this Saturday, May 25th
This Saturday, May 25th 2019, is a busy one across Brockville! Here is a quick summary of everything happening throughout the city.
Community Living Pancake Breakfast
Start your day off right with a hearty pancake breakfast! Hosted by the Brockville & Area Community Living Association, the Brockville Professional Fire Fighters Association and the Brockville Fire Department, you can start your busy day with a delicious breakfast all while helping a good cause.
Breakfast runs from 8am to 11am, and will be hosted at Fire Station #2 on Laurier Boulevard. The cost is $5 per person, with children 12 and under eating free. Make sure you check out the Facebook Event Page for more information.
Downtown Brockville Street Eats
Downtown Brockville is going to be filled with great food and sales all day Saturday! From 9am to 4pm, stroll along downtown King street and explore the different shops and their sales. As well, there will be food vendors from in and around Brockville, including Beavertails from Kingston! On top of all the sales, there will be bouncy castles, henna art, live music, and lots of other fun activities for the kids.

IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimers
If walking for a cause is more your thing, check out the Walk for Alzheimers, hosted by IG Wealth Management. Starting at Hardy Park, the walk will begin at 9am with registration, with the actual walk taking place from 10am to 11am. You can register right now on their website, either as a team or as an individual. Make a difference this weekend while getting to walk throughout our beautiful city.
Tribute to Neil Diamond
If you’re looking for an evening filled with music, we have some great options happening Saturday evening!
First up is Stephen Goodberry and Debra Currier’s tribute to Neil Diamond. Opening will be Pamela Anne Moffatt, Laurie Hull, Maurice Sauve, Annie Francois and Maxine Wood. Tickets are $10 and the concert will be taking place at Brockville Collegiate Institute’s auditorium. This concert will highlight all of Neil Diamond’s hits, and a portion of the proceeds will go towards the local MS Society and the local OSPCA. Youth Opportunities In the Arts Benefit Concert
A Benefit Concert for YOA (Youth Opportunities in the Arts) will be held at the Brockville Convention Center beginning at 7:30pm. Tickets for limited open seating will be available at the door, from St. John’s United Church and the Royal Bank. Come and hear legendary songs from the 60’s to the 90’s sung by talented singers, the St. Lawrence Shakespearean Festival Players & YOA Performers.
The Concert is sponsored by Gordon N. Ellis to celebrate his 80th birthday.
