About Brockville

Your Waterfront Getaway Starts Here

Did you know Brockville is the only municipality in the 1000 Islands region to actually own islands? These natural gems are open to the public to explore and perfect for your next boating or camping adventure! Paddle, power, or sail your way over and enjoy a day of sun, water, and nature.

Boating or Paddling to the Islands

Our islands are ready for visitors by boat, kayak, or canoe! Docking is available for day trips or overnight stays during the boating season with mooring slips booked in advance.

Launch your boat from Brockville’s public ramps at Home Street or Henry Street. Paddlers can access several islands via paddle-up sites and a free kayak launch is available at St. Lawrence Park’s southwest corner where you can also rent kayaks!

Camping on the Islands

Want to wake up on your own private slice of paradise? Camping is available on designated sites across the City Islands, but reservations are required. You can book up to one week in advance through our online system. The 2026 camping season will be announced soon.
