Back to The Future for TIKO
The weekend of Aug 19 – 21, 2022 will see the return of the Thousand Islands Kennel and Obedience Club (TIKO) Canadian Kennel Club Sanctioned Dog Show and Obedience/Rally Trials and to commemorate the return we are going BACK TO THE FUTURE!!
Brockville has been the site of TIKO’s annual weekend of dog shows for fifty plus years. In 2022 we will be returning to the Elizabethtown-Kitley Fairgrounds on County Road 6 – where the club traditionally held its three days of Conformation Shows and Obedience Trials. Revisit the 1970’s as we return to our roots! Join us for fun and relaxing competition and experience firsthand why exhibitors keep coming back to our Shows and Trials.
The public is welcome to come and view the proceedings as exhibitors compete with their dogs for the coveted Best-In-Show award on each of the three days. Come and discover some of the 187 different breeds of dogs recognized by the Canadian Kennel club. Watch as performance dogs compete in increasingly difficult levels of Obedience and Rally training, exemplifying the bond between handler and dog at its best. Browse the booths for dog related treasures. It’s a fun three days for everyone.
For our American exhibitors the currency exchange is in your favour making this a less expensive show for you to attend and gaining a Canadian title even more appealing with our international panel of judges. No matter where you are coming from you will enjoy visiting this beautiful part of Ontario.
The Show Venue:
Please note that the show venue is changing back to our traditional outdoor show at the Elizabethtown Kitley Fairgrounds less than 5 minutes from the City of Brockville. Large rings, covered grooming area and plenty of room for set up for both day exhibitors as well as those camping over will add to the experience. Admission to the public is free of charge (for health and safety reasons please leave dogs home that are not entered).

You can also go to the Canuck Dogs website to view the premium lists for TIKO and many other dog shows, including SD&G which is the following weekend and is less than a one-hour drive from Brockville on the St. Lawrence River.
