Join us monthly for a 45 minute presentation on Brockville’s social and industrial history. We’ll explore Brockville’s most unique stories through the archival images and objects in the museum’s collection. $5.31/person +HST ($6.00).

A look back at the many nursing schools based in Brockville, including objects and stories from the Brockville General Hospital, St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, and the Brockville Psychiatric Hospital schools.
June 11th: An Overview of Smarts Manufacturing
A look back at one of Brockville’s leading industries, showcasing several objects from Smarts manufacturing in the museum collection.
July 9th: A Look at Former Brockville Hotels
A historical overview of Brockville’s downtown hotels, including stories and objects from the Manitonna Hotel, Revere Hotel and others.
August 13th: Royal Visits to Brockville
A nostalgic look back at some of the memorable visits to Brockville by members of the Royal Family.
September 10th: The Development of Brockville’s Local Government
A look back at the formation and evolution of Brockville’s municipal government from 1832 to 1982.
October 8th: Guest speaker
November 12th: Three Brockville Soldiers (WWI)
Stories and objects from the lives of three Brockville soldiers who fought in the First World War: Frederick Curry, Thain MacDowell, and Tolford Murray.

A look back at some of the commercial pharmacies in Brockville, including Curry’s Drug Store, Fullerton Drug Store, and others.
