Mac Johnson Wildlife Area Winter Festival

Join the Friends of Mac Johnson Wildlife Area for their annual Winter Festival on January 25th, 2025 from 10am to 2pm. The Mush Larose Dogsled Teams will kick off the excitement with their races at 11am. Arrive early to meet the dogs and their teams or grab a hot drink and something yummy to eat from the canteen. Don’t forget to make time to visit the Kids’ Zone and try on a pair of snowshoes, give the scavenger hunt a whirl, get creative in the Snow Village, or take a funny-family-photo at the nature-inspired photo booth. Gather by the campfire and warm up with friends, a hot chocolate, and a marshmallow or two. This event is “by donation” and all proceeds raised will go back to sharing our love for nature, conservation, and community at Mac Johnson Wildlife Area.
