
March Break at the Museum
Touch Table Activity Stations (1-4 PM)
Get hands-on with exhibit-themed activities for kids 3-12 (with an adult). Mostly self-directed, with a docent available for support. March Break activities include:
- Match that Artifact – Compare old artifacts to modern items.
- Victorian Photo Booth – Pose with props for a vintage-style portrait.
- Who Made What? – Match Brockville-made artifacts in a sensory bin.
- Sesquicentennial Poster – Design a poster for Brockville’s 200th anniversary.
- Spot the Difference Puzzle – See how Blockhouse Island has changed.
- Toy Train – Play with a wooden train and explore Brockville’s railway history.
- Match the Boats – Identify boats that have sailed past Brockville.
Discovery Kits (10 AM-1 PM)
Self-directed, interactive kits available for kids and youth (first come, first served). Included with admission by donation. Inquire at the front desk. Not available during Touch Table hours.
March Break kits:
- Sensational Science Backpack (ages 7-12) – Hands-on STEAM activities in museum exhibits.
- Mindful Museum Trail Messenger Bag (ages 12-17+) – Relax, create a soundscape, draw artifacts, and explore exhibits.
