Experience the morning call of SUNRISE [Beckett] and the sweltering heat of a summer’s NOON [ Effinger/Ferril]. Spend a lazy AFTERNOON ON A HILL [Dickau/Millay]. Move towards evening [SURE ON THIS SHINING NIGHT – Barber/Agee] and into the time WHEN MIDNIGHT MISTS ARE CREEPING [Gilpin/Carroll] to contemplate the night sky [NOCHE SERENA – Stroope/Léon].

Throughout This Day, familiar scenes of our Great North Land remind us of who we are. From the East Coast – AWAY FROM THE ROLL OF THE SEA [MacGillivray], ride the rails West and back again [PRAIRIE GREYHOUND – Smallman/Johnson]. Prepare for the inevitable storm [HUNKER DOWN – Stokes] and the ensuing calm [SEAL LULLABY – Whitacre/Kipling].
