Community Strong Food Drive
Are you looking for more ways to help out during the quarantine? Maybe realizing you went a bit overboard when grocery stockpiling and want to give back? Keep up your physical distancing while supporting a good cause with the Community Strong Food Drive, created by the City of Brockville city council along with the Winter Classic organizing committee.
Food Drive Essential Information
When: Saturday April 11th, 2020, 10am – 2pm
Where: All around Brockville (Route Map below)
Why: To help support the Brockville community in a time of need while still being able to maintain physical distancing
How to Participate
There will be a small parade of vehicles with various emergency vehicles as well following the route below starting at 10am. Residents are asked to place non-perishable food items at the end of their driveways in advance of the parade, and then return to the safety of their homes or front porch to watch the items be picked up.
To add to the community spirit of the event, there will also be a solo musician on the back of one of the vehicles to perform.
