The St. Lawrence Writers Festival is a multi-day literary event showcasing Canadian writers through readings, workshops, panel discussions, book signings and community activities. The festival features a diverse lineup of authors, notably Donna Morrissey, Giles Blunt, Rod Carley, Terry Fallis, Waubgeshig Rice, and Wayne Johnston amongst many others. The festival also features a cruise in the 1000 Islands with Romance authors Ali Bryan, Lily Chu, Kerry Clare, Farah Heron and Maggie North, hosted by Amy Jones. The “Love Boat” cruise is Saturday Sept. 13 and tickets are $75.00 which includes food!
Other genres featured at the festival include Romantasy, Historical fiction and non-fiction, contemporary fiction, and poetry amongst others.
