Spice Up Your Winter Routine at the Triangle Ski Club!
For those who do not know about the Triangle Cross Country Ski Club of Brockville, it’s time to put it on your radar! If you’ve ever been interested in cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snow biking, plus much more, you do not have to look any further than less than 25 minutes outside of Brockville!
The Club dates back to the 70’s, and offers 35km picturesque ski trails, 3 loop/6km snowshoe trails, both at beginner, intermediate and expert levels. Organized night skis, Jackrabbit program, and many social events throughout the year are also offered by the club. It is requested that day users make a contribution of $10.00, which includes access to the club’s ski trails, and use of a large selection of ski equipment*. Affordable memberships are also available for families and individuals, and kids training lessons take place on Sundays (when there’s snow!).
Their Annual Fall Open House and Trail Tour Day is fast approaching, taking place on Sunday December 10th 2017 from 10:30am to 3:30pm. Get a feel for what the club offers by taking part in this fun filled day of snow (fat) biking, hiking and trail running – and if there’s snow there will be skiing! Tours of the trail system will commence at 11:000am and 1:30pm, enjoy refreshments and meet the executive and fellow ski club members.
If you’re looking to try something different, make time for exercise, and explore the picturesque countryside that the greater Brockville area offers, the Triangle Cross Country Ski Club has you covered! If winter activities really are not your thing, the club is working towards moving to a year round facility, to offer mountain biking, trail running, hiking, adventure racing and photography workshops. So stay tuned!
