EV Charging Stations in Brockville
Electric vehicles (EVs) have been around for quite a while, however they have been growing in popularity for the past decade or so as people become more aware of their carbon footprint. Most electric car owners have EV charging stations installed in their homes, but for those looking to travel long distances, having a public charging station is essential.
Brockville is working hard to develop new public EV charging stations. Right now, the following locations are currently running (Updated February 18, 2020):
- Riverside GM – 1240 Stewart
- They have two Level 2 chargers and a Level 3 charger
- These chargers are located inside the service area and so are only available during business hours
- The New Oak Tree – 26 King St E
- One Level 2 Charger
- The Aquatarium Parking Garage – 6 Broad St
- They have two Level 2 chargers
- Petro-Canada – 325 Stewart
- They have two EV Fast Charge DC fast (CCS & CHAdeMO) stations
- Brockville Hyundai – 770 Stewart
- They have one Level 2 charger
- This charger is located inside the service area and is available during business hours
- 1000 Islands Toyota – 555 Stewart
- They have one charger outdoors that is free to use, 24/7
- There is also one charger indoors, but is limited use
