You won’t want to miss this great waterfront festival coming to Brockville from June 24-26, 2022.
The Tall Ships Festival only occurs every 3 years, so don’t miss your chance to see these amazing tall ships up close.
Accommodations
We recommend booking your accommodations early as previous Tall Ships festivals filled our local providers to capacity in Brockville, and most nearby towns were full as well. Bus shuttles will also pick up hotel guests from the Days Inn, Travelodge, Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, and from the Hampton Inn as well as the Super 8 in Brockville. Drop off/pick up downtown on King Street at Home Street, and King Street at Market Street East.
Take advantage of the Ontario Staycation Tax Credit where Ontario residents will be able to claim 20% of eligible 2022 accommodation expenses.

Downtown Brockville
Don’t forget to explore the many restaurants and retailers you can find just steps from the festival grounds in downtown Brockville. Shop the Street is happening June 25th where King St. is transformed into a giant sidewalk sale.
The Brockville Railway Tunnel
Brockville is home to Canada’s First Railway Tunnel which underwent a massive restoration and was reopened to the public in 2017. This unique piece of history accompanied by a music and light show is quickly becoming one of the top attractions in Ontario on TripAdvisor.

The Aquatarium
Experience life in the 1000 Islands at the Aquatarium. Participate in hands-on interactive exhibits; see replica ships found in the St. Lawrence River; see many species of fish and animals, such as otters, native to the St. Lawrence River; test out their green screen adventure and saltwater touch tank.
Don’t forget to book your ride on the Aquatarium Express Train through the Tunnel!
The Brockville Arts Centre
Extend your stay and enjoy live entertainment on the Thursday before the festival begins.The British Legends present- The music of David Bowie, Elton John & Freddy Mercury Thursday, June 23 at 2:00 p.m. & 8:00 p.m.
The Brockville Museum
Stop by the Brockville Museum, just steps from the main festival grounds, to learn more about Brockville’s rich waterfront history. Select guided tours available in the summer months, and self-guided tour books will be available for advance purchase as a package when you buy your festival tickets (online).
Brockville Farmers’ Market
Make sure to visit the many vendors along Market Street West during the festival (located between the festival shuttle drop off on King Street and the main festival entrance on Blockhouse Island) for fresh veggies, unique crafts, kombucha, cut flowers, iced coffee and other sweet and savory treats. The Farmers’ Market will be set up on Market Street West on the Friday and Saturday of the festival.
