Kayak rentals are closed for the season. We will open in June 2026.
Experience the beauty of the St. Lawrence River up close! Kayaking is a fun and accessible way to explore the world-famous 1000 Islands.
In partnership with DIVE Brockville Adventure Centre, we offer rentals out of the west side of St. Lawrence Park including single kayaks, tandem kayaks, and paddleboards to help you get out on the River with ease.

Kayak Rental Information
You can rent your kayak or paddleboard from the Visitor Information Cabin at St. Lawrence Park (525 King Street West, Brockville), with an easy access point to the water including an accessible launch.
Rentals are available seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s the perfect launch point to begin your 1000 Islands adventure!
Rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Life Jacket (you can use your own life jacket if you prefer)

- Safety Kit
How old do you have to be to rent a kayak?
Paddlers aged 14 and up are welcome to rent a single kayak with a signed waiver from an accompanying adult (age 18+).
Children aged 7 to 13 can ride in a tandem kayak with an accompanying adult (age 18+).
