12:00 PM: Get the holiday vibes rolling with a delightful lunch downtown in a cozy cafe like Sweet Ofelia Cafe and Market.
2:00 PM: Embark on a shopping adventure in Downtown Brockville, where you can uncover unique holiday treasures. From fashion to books, art, home decor, and more, there’s a little something for everyone!
4:00 PM: Check in to 48 King West or another charming bed and breakfast to snuggle up and recharge before the evening festivities.
5:00 PM: Enjoy a hearty meal at the 1000 Islands Brewery or Keystorm Pub, where good food and good times go hand in hand.
6:30 PM: Time to journey to Clow’s Christmas Trail, just outside Brockville, for a magical winter wonderland that’ll make your holiday spirits soar!
8:30 PM: Return to Brockville in time for the enchanting River of Lights, a free holiday light and sound show along the St. Lawrence River.

FALL ITINERARY

ON THE RIVER:
Dive Brockville Adventure Centre and choose from a variety of exciting St. Lawrence River activities including, dives tours of Local Shipwrecks, snorkeling tours paddleboard rental’s, and kayaking tours to admire the natural beauty of the 1000 Islands.
Just off of Centeen Park, divers will find an amazing place to learn and practice their scuba diving skills. The Brockville Underwater Sculpture Park is a one of a kind experience, where divers will get to learn basic skills of diving without potentially damaging historic shipwrecks.
Explore Brockville’s Islands & beyond with a sightseeing or adventure thrill ride aboard the Wildcat Cruise, offered by 1000 Islands and Seaway Cruises.

ON LAND:
The Brock Trail is a paved trail that stretches throughout the city for walkers and cyclists. Beginning at Centeen Park, The Brock Trail runs along the waterfront, through Blockhouse Island, Hardy Park, past the Rotary Park, and then up through the green space surrounding downtown’s residential areas. If you follow the trail to its end, you’ll find yourself at Mac Johnson Wildlife Area.
Mac Johnson Wildlife Area is a natural conservation area and offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, birdwatching, and fishing. The area boasts over 11 kilometers of scenic hiking trails that wind through a diverse range of habitats, including wetlands, forests, and fields. Along the way, hikers can spot a variety of wildlife, including turtles, beavers, deer, and a wide array of bird species. The trails are well-maintained and suitable for hikers of all experience levels. Additionally, the area offers picnic facilities, a playground, and an interpretive center, making it a great place to spend a day in nature.
If you play Disc Golf, you’ll want to play Flyboy Canada One’s free course in Brockville! Opened in June of 2021 with 10 holes, it has now expanded to 19 in spring 2023. You can find the first entrance at
Treetop Trekking is Ontario’s original and most exciting tree top zip line adventure. Treetop Trekking is the perfect outing for adventurous families, groups of friends and couples. Their team building packages are perfect for companies, sports teams and community groups. There is something for all ages and abilities.
HISTORICAL ITINERARY
This itinerary will give you a taste of Brockville’s rich history and culture, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore the city’s museum, galleries, and historic sites.
Start your day at the Brockville Museum. The museum has exhibits and artifacts that showcase the history of Brockville and the surrounding area. You can explore the exhibits at your own pace or join a guided tour to learn more about the city’s past.
Next, see what’s playing at the Brockville Arts Centre. The building itself is a piece of history, dating back to 1852. The Art Centre has a rotating collection of exhibitions featuring local artists as well as theatre productions and concerts.
Immerse yourself in history with a visit to This Iconic Pub, where sunken ships, pink pills, and bank robbers are part of its intriguing past. Enjoy a delicious lunch while taking in stunning views of the John H. Fulford Fountain & The Brockville War Memorial.
One of Brockville’s most iconic landmarks, Brockville City Hall. Formerly known as Victoria Hall was originally built during the 1862-64 era as a combination concert hall, office space, and indoor market house. The symbolic clock tower was recently restored to maintain the clock’s heritage value.
After lunch, head to the Historic Brockville Railway Tunnel. This historic tunnel was built in the 1860s and was recently restored and opened to the public.
Next, visit Fulford Place Museum. This stunning mansion was built in 1899 by businessman and politician George T. Fulford. The museum offers guided tours that showcase the luxurious lifestyle of the Fulford family as well as the social and economic history of Brockville.
A “must-see” in Brockville is the Leeds and Grenville County Courthouse, a National Historic Site with grandiose neoclassical architecture, overlooking the downtown core and framed by churches and steeples. Don’t forget to look up and meet Sally Grant, Brockville’s Lady Justice statue.
End your day with a sunset dinner cruise with 1000 Islands & Seaway Cruises, where you can enjoy a meal while taking in the scenic views of the river. During the cruise, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the history of the region, including rich architectural treasures of this one-time ‘Millionaire’s Capital of Canada’.
